1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using QuickClick Landcare ("QuickClick," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Jolt Technologies, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. QuickClick is an on-demand service marketplace connecting customers with independent contractors for residential, commercial, and industrial property maintenance services including lawn care, snow removal, plumbing, house cleaning, electrical work, HVAC service, and more.
2. Description of Services
QuickClick operates a platform that allows customers to browse, book, and pay for property maintenance and home services from independent contractors. We charge a 4% platform fee on each transaction. Workers keep 100% of all tips. Services are available in all 50 U.S. states.
3. User Accounts
You may need to create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.
4. Payments & Fees
QuickClick supports 30+ payment options including credit/debit cards, cash, and cryptocurrency. The platform charges a 4% service fee per transaction. Service providers set their own rates. All payments are processed securely through our payment partners. Tips are passed through 100% to the service provider with 0% tax withheld on tips by the platform.
5. Independent Contractors
Service providers on QuickClick are independent contractors, not employees of QuickClick or Jolt Technologies. QuickClick does not supervise or control the manner or method by which contractors perform services. Contractors are licensed and insured (License: DC-112101226).
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the platform, submit false information, harass service providers, or use QuickClick for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
QuickClick acts as a marketplace connecting customers with service providers. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services performed by independent contractors. Our total liability is limited to the platform fees you have paid in the preceding 12 months.
5a. Pricing & Surge Pricing
All prices displayed on the QuickClick platform are starting rates. Final pricing depends on the scope of work, your location, and the time of service. QuickClick charges a flat 4% platform service fee on each transaction — that's it. There are no hidden costs or surprise charges added by the platform.
Please be aware that surge pricing may apply during periods of high demand, adverse weather conditions, holidays, or emergency situations. When surge pricing is active, you will be notified before booking is confirmed. Surge pricing adjustments are set by independent service providers and are separate from the 4% platform fee. By confirming a booking during a surge period, you acknowledge and accept the adjusted pricing.
100% of all tips go directly to the service provider. The platform does not take any portion of tips.
5b. Cancellations & Disputes
Standard Services: You may request cancellation of a standard (non-emergency) service booking at any time before the service provider has been dispatched. Cancellation terms, including any applicable fees, may vary depending on the service and the service provider's own policy. Please review the cancellation policy displayed at time of booking.
Emergency Services: Once an emergency service has been dispatched (i.e., the service provider has departed to your location), the booking cannot be cancelled. You are responsible for the agreed-upon service fee for emergency bookings once dispatch has been confirmed. This policy exists to protect service providers who respond urgently and incur time and travel costs immediately upon dispatch.
Appeals Process: If you believe a charge or dispatch was made in error, or if extraordinary circumstances prevented you from receiving service, you may submit an appeal to the QuickClick platform. Appeals are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Eligible scenarios may include: (a) a confirmed error by the platform or service provider; (b) a documented safety emergency preventing service receipt; or (c) other extenuating circumstances at QuickClick's sole discretion. Appeals must be submitted within 7 days of the service date by contacting help@quickclick.now. QuickClick's decision on all appeals is final.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
